Description
project
The KTZ Building is the tallest administrative building in Kazakhstan and home to the largest media facade in Central Asia. 34 floors of usable height plus a 17-meter steel spire-lightning rod.
The complex required a high-speed elevator group supporting intense passenger flow during morning and evening hours. Eight Fujitec Zexia passenger elevators were installed with group control and an intelligent call-allocation algorithm.
The building's height required ±1 mm stopping accuracy even on the upper floors and active damping of horizontal sway from wind. Seismic resistance to magnitude 9 was also required.
The elevators have served the building since 2019 without a single failure. Average wait time — 28 seconds at peak hours.
